The Arizona Diamond Back Rattler
DBacks are a part of the Arizona Desert.
Where our ranch is they are rather prevalent.
Since we have been living here, we have tangled with
12 of them. Score so far Haddans 12 DBacks 0 .
The rattler sneaking into the rose garden.
Outside the fence as the rattler sneaks in.
The rattler less head !
The rattler with 5 rattles!
The rattler head, look at the eye.
That crocodile guy has nothing on the Snake Man !
Andrew walked out the front door last night
and was greeted by the rattle of this fella.
This big guy was waiting for me when I went to change the water filter.
When that tail rattles, believe me it is very scary till ya see where he is at!
When coiled and ready to strike they are very intimadating!
This is the latest DB that almost got me. Was on knees fixing the water
drip for my grapes in the back yard. Caught a movement out of corner of my eye
and he was a circleing up to strike, all of about 18 inches right from my hand.
One shot to the head and number 12 bites the dust.
