Upon immigrating to America, changed the Hines from Heintz.
He served in the American Revolution in the Battle of Bunker Hill.

He immigrated to the colonies to Pennsylvania with his wife,

He was of German and Swiss extraction.
He made the voyage to the Americas in the ship "Two Brothers"
which sailed out of Rotterdam, Holland.
