July 4th

We just had a wonderful 4th of July. We, Laura and Andrew and Me and Karen
spent the afternoon up in Phoenix at the Diamond Backs game. Only bad
thing about the day is the DBacks lost. We had a little snack at Sliders
before the game. Then got a free 4th DBack T-Shirt. They honored the military
people before the game. After San Diego whipped
it upon us, they opened the roof and had a fantastic fireworks display.

The service men at the game who earned a purple heart. Honoring all branches of the service before the game. The jumbotron with pictures of the military. The game was telecast to our military over in Iraq. The singing of the National Anthem. As the DBacks took the field a member of the different brances of service stood with each DBack as the Anthem was sang.. As it was the forth and a Friday, the game was a sell out, over 49, 000 fans. On the side of the jumbotron, the lineup playing the game. The lights are out and getting ready for the fireworks. The is a picture of the Diamond Club. Great food. .
